The author and compiler of 'Meteorology .... Simply for Yachties' has spent 35 years enjoying his sport and passion - sailing all types of boats ranging from off shore yachts, catamarans and power boats to the Drascombe lugger and the humble Mirror dinghy. In his professional life, he was a flying instructor and examiner with 10,000 hrs flying experience and has spent many countless hours teaching Meteorology to both student pilots and student sailors
During the past two years, he has developed and produced this PowerPoint based weather training course which attempts to make this complex subject far less daunting and far more user friendly than the very few and very much more expensive alternatives that are currently on the market.
His simple aim is to remove the many mysteries of how the world's weather forms and to take the drudgery out of wading through countless complex text books. 'Meteorology ....
